Farnam's on how to read books

[#farnam-how-to-read] exposes a structured way to remember what you read. It's divided in three steps:

  1. Active reading - AKA info gathering, making a ritual, link to real life
  2. Remembering - AKA take notes and make links
  3. Following up - AKA applying to your context, reviewing

There are two points particularly interesting: 202109122338 Gather context around what you're consuming 202109122337 Drop books when no longer interesting

There are a lot of links to 202109122334 Zettelkasten there, mostly:

  • Review and link up your notes in the end of the study session
  • Do note waste time on something that's uninteresting. Jump around topics that catch your attention
