Notes on assessing projects

The general tone should be empowering better decisions still during planning, which drives higher impact.

That can be a bit lofty, so I'll break it down into some principles:

  1. Look into scoping and what possible flaws scope has
    1. Is it meaningful and focused?
    2. Is the delivery timeline acceptable and realistic?
  2. Try to anticipate problems and friction. Frontloading them will be better in the long run
    1. What budget are we willing to spend (resource-wise, time-wise, etc)
    2. Are people avoiding a certain tougher, but important topic?
