On [#dicks-storyworthy], chapter 8
One you find a story worth telling [1], you should think about how to begin it. There two important things here:
- Good stories start at the opposite side of your ending (Good stories contain change)
- Good stories start with forward moment. Compress facts, keep your audience engaged by focusing on things that add value to the story. In many ways, this summarizes to dedicating time to find interesting ways to reel the listener in
Once you hook your audience, you should keep them there by learning How to keep your stories engaging
